| We are unsure of the exact history of this particular car. But here is some of the research that we have done. There is a plate on the dash that says Chevrolet Brothers MFG CO. Before Chevy was its own auto manufacturing company, they produced performance parts for Fords. This Indy car has been tuned by the Chevy brothers. The heads have been worked by the Chevy brothers too. The AAA emblem on the front is sanctioning body known as The American Automobile Association. According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Championship_Car_Racing, from 1909 to 1955 the championship was sanctioned by the Contest Board of the American Automobile Association. On the top of the radiator is the thermostat. When the car gets too hot, the green turns over to the red side. The fuel pump is pretty cool. You actually pressurize the tank its self. There is a crank on the front that you spin to start up the engine. The car runs and drives, although it is a tight fit. The engine numbers have been ran and came from a 1921 Model T. The engine is a 4 cylinder. The transmission is a 3 speed forward and reverse. There is a Winfield carburetor, Bosh Magneto, Geimer steering box, Stewart Warner gauges.
We have had someone come look at the car that was from California and she seemed very interested in the car. She said it looked like a really nice original car. She actually flew in here to Florida just to look at our car.
